When can I book a tour?Freddy allows for early bookings within any time frame. Ideally, it's wise to book at least a week in advance. For last-minute bookings, he requires a minimum of 4 hours in order to guarantee availability and to maintain quality service.

What are Freddy's cancelation policies?General Cancellations: 1. All cancellations are subject to a 10% service tax. Cancellations Prior to 72 Hours: 2. Refunds for cancellations made prior to 72 hours before the scheduled tour will be issued. With the exception of fishing or boat tours, deposits within this category are non-refundable due to the popularity and availability of such services. Cancellations Within 72 Hours: 3. Cancellations within 72 hours of the scheduled tour will result in the forfeiture of the deposit. Other Cancellations: 4. For all other cancellations or failure to show up for the tour, 50% of the total balance will be charged.

What are Freddy's payment policies?Thank you for choosing our tour company for your Costa Rican adventure! To reserve your spots, we require a small deposit, which can be paid via PayPal invoice. You can book online via our booking page or simply provide us with your email address, and we'll send you the invoice. Please note that your deposit amount will vary depending on the tour you select, and a 13% added value tax will be applied to this deposit. The remaining balance can be paid in cash on the day of the tour. If you choose to pay your balance with a credit card or PayPal invoice, the 13% added value tax will also be charged on the remaining balance. We understand that plans can change, so please review our cancellation policy and tour recommendations on the invoice before confirming your reservation. If you are unable to make it to Costa Rica, we offer a 100% refund on your deposit. Once again, thank you for choosing our tour company. What are Freddy's pick-up policies?Please ensure you are at the designated pick-up location at least 5 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time. Tour operators will wait 10 minutes for late arrivals, after which time the tour is considered canceled and the client is not eligible for a refund. In the event of an emergency please contact Freddy in advance so that he can help re-schedule your tour, some additional fees may be included. Freddy will do his best to accommodate clients in the event that cancelation is beyond their control.

How do you know if a tour company is legal and certified in Costa Rica?Licensed tours will pay taxes and dues to the Tourism Board which oversees and educates on the quality of tours in Costa Rica. Training includes emergency procedures such as C.P.R. You will see the ICT logo on-site and on vehicles as well as licensed transportation with the TURISMO stickers located on the rear of the vehicle.
